Commercial Terms

Terms of Purchase:

The user is entirely responsible for reading everything before making a purchase at the box office or a donation. A legal contract takes effect from the moment the checkout process is completed.

Prices & Fees:

Both the ticket values and the amounts to be donated are clearly indicated on the respective product. In the Donations area, there is a field where you can specify the amount you wish to donate yourself. The user is entirely responsible for the amount they indicate in this field. 

 

Payment Methods:

The payment methods accepted in this website are:  

- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, China Union Pay, JCB, Diners, Discover, Visa Electron, Maestro;

- Apple Pay;

- Google Pay;

- MBway.

Subscription Renewal:

Subscription to the newsletter is free. Donations can be made on a monthly basis at no additional cost beyond the amount of the donation itself.

Refund Policy:

There are no refunds on our tickets or donations. The only situation in which there is a refund is if the event is canceled by the Hindu Community of Portugal.

Donation Terms:

The donations are used for various purposes of the Hindu Community of Portugal, managed by the Board of Directors according to the needs at any given time. The minimum amount per donation is 11€ and the maximum is 2001€.

Warranties & Responsibilities

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website. However, we do not warrant that the content of our site is error-free, complete or up-to-date. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

We guarantee that tickets purchased through our website are valid for entry to the specified event. In the event of cancellation, we will offer a full refund or a ticket for a future event. We are not responsible for any interruptions or errors in the operation of our website. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that our site is available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Users are responsible for their conduct while using our site and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our site to any user who violates these terms.

Intelectual Property

The services and all materials contained therein or transferred through it, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Comunidade Hindu de Portugal. The user agrees not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comunidade Hindu de Portugal from any demands, losses, liabilities, claims or expenses (including attorneys' fees), made against you by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Comunidade Hindu de Portugal be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the service; any (i) errors, mistakes or inaccuracies in content; (ii) personal injury or property damage of any kind resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time at our sole discretion. You should therefore review this page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material way, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the website or our service after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or service.

Applicable law & dispute resolution

These Conditions, the rights and remedies provided for in them, as well as any and all claims and disputes related to them and/or the services, shall be governed, interpreted and applied in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the legislation in force in Portugal, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all claims and disputes shall be brought, and the user consents to them being decided, exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Lisboa. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
