Navaratri is a festival of great intensity, celebrated all over India. The Festival is composed by rituals in the beginning and closing and 9 Nights of pure dance to the sound of traditional music. The 10th night, 'Dassehra Night', will be celebrated on the 12th of October.

Social action

Charitable actions,

health support, immigration support and blood donation campaigns are some of the social action activities carried out by CHP.

Regular activities

We offer classes in different disciplines related to

Indian culture (music, dance, yoga, languages, gastronomy),

as well as lectures, conferences and guided tours.

Cultural Events

We organize and host a

wide range of events - shows, fairs and festivals.

Our Auditorium and Function Hall are venues for public and

private events.

Religion

Radha Krishna Temple has daily programs and holds celebrations on special dates. The representation of Hinduism is also done through Inter-religious Dialogue.

Radharani Group

This is a group of ladies from the Comunidade Hindu de Portugal who carry out a range of philanthropic and other activities. We'll be adding more information soon.

Sport

We regularly organize sport activities aimed at our community, often in partnership with other entities,

to promote health and

team spirit.

Youth Committee

Young people from Comunidade Hindu de Portugal play an active role in promoting recreational, and educational activities, organizing lectures and events for the community.

Media

CHP gets airtime on TV and radio programmes.

Many of its events are covered by various television channels, and it is also frequently invited to give interviews.
